Margo let a devilish laugh slip and grinned at him. “Who’s to say that’s the only thing getting wet?” She did love her innuendos and when she was playful they just seemed to fall from her lips. Running a hand through his hair, she inadvertently messed it up a little bit. Really, all she had wanted was to feel it between her fingers.
Even as the rain made things slick and slippery, her fingers got to work impatiently unbuttoning each button in a line down his white dress shirt. Seth was a beautiful sight right then, but she wanted more of him and the only way to make that happen was to strip him of his clothing. He certainly didn’t seem to mind her springing into action.
As she finished, she pulled the shirt open, tugging it off of his muscled shoulders. He had some interesting ink that she’d gotten a glimpse of thanks to her rain, but she wanted to see all of it unobscured by clothing.
He was a gorgeous man and it was easy to get lost in his charms. Margo had seen dozens of smartmouthed types in her life before, all of them struggling to match her quick wit, but Seth was the first one she would have considered to be a match for her sharp tongue. It was enough to catch and firmly hold her interest.
She ran a hand up his chest, enjoying the feeling of water slicked skin beneath her fingertips. Margo wanted to touch every inch of him. He’d stirred up a kind of hunger in her that she hadn’t felt for some time and it burned inside her.
The music only added to the mesmerizing pitter patter of light raindrops. If Margo hadn’t been so keyed up and locked in the moment, she might have grown drowsy from the constant, rhythmic sound. If Seth was good at one thing, though, he was good at holding her interest.
