L is for the way you look at me
Who: Revelry and Love (aka Seth Gecko and Diana Prince)
What: Formal introductions
Where: Temple of Love
When: Before Seth was hailed on the network by Mother Nature
Warning(s): Language because Seth. Will update if additional should rise.
He didn't know what the proper etiquette was between gods. Did they acknowledge each other from a distance or make the other's acquaintance in person? Seth didn't mind conversation over the comm device but preferred a face to face to truly size up someone. It had already peaked his interest to learn the throne for love had been occupied around the time he had taken his. And the truth was that he didn't really give a shit about proper etiquette.
Vernos Bay was lucky that love wasn't the throne Seth had wandered into, his luck with it being a shit show. He failed equally across the board whether it was familial or romantic love. The L word didn't easily cross his lips. Yet with someone taking the throne, love became possible for all. Maybe even the gods. Not that Seth cared one way or the other about it. Or so he told himself.
"I come in peace," he called while entering the temple. His priests that followed him seemed to repeat after him. Seth carried a wine bottle in hand that had been enhanced by him. "I even brought a peace offerin'." Not that love should have an issue with revelry but he opted to be safe than sorry. None of the gods he'd met yet seemed like the type to wage war. Hopefully he pegged her right.

Luckily the throne she'd got was something she believed in very much. Love. She was an Amazon after all and love was one of the things they had been created to bring to humanity. Bringing it to Vernos Bay shouldn't be any different.
One of her priestesses hurried to where she was in the back of the temple, whispering about how another God was visiting and had even brought her a peace offering. Diana's eyebrows knitted together for a moment and then she was rising from her spot so she could go and meet this God. She crossed the temple easily and her priestesses were close at her heels, interested to see what this God wanted.
An easy smile appeared on Diana's lips when she began to approach a handsome dark haired man holding a bottle of wine. "Welcome," she greeted him and her priestesses nodded in agreement, eyeing him and his priests. "I am Diana..."

No, he meant lovely lady. The self correction held no apology in tone or body language. If it were possible to display teasing in a smirk, that was what formed on his lips--the mischief meeting his eyes. Seth randomly slid his free hand down the front of his suit as if to smooth out the tie underneath his jacket.
"For you to enjoy how you see fit, Goddess. From the throne of revelry."
She more than easily met his eyes with her stature, prompting Seth to straighten his posture and stand up straighter. He didn't have a Napoleon complex but always thought women weren't interested in men that they had to look down on whether figuratively or literally. He most assuredly did not want Diana to look down on him.
"I'd be happy to stay and open up that bad boy for ya, or I can be about my business if you've got no time for a little fun right now." The way he spoke, it would have seemed if he playfully winked along with his words but Seth managed to flirt without the overture.

Her smile grew as she looked between the bottle of wine and Seth. "Throne of revelry? How appropriate then," she chuckled and turned so she could hand the bottle to one of the hovering priestesses. When she turned back, she noticed that Seth seemed to have straightened his posture a bit and her eyebrows lifted a little in question, but left the question at the look.
"How about you join me for a glass of it?" she countered before motioning for him to follow her towards the back of the temple. There they would find a comfortable area they could sit and talk. Over-sized plush cushions were placed around the area so one might sit and enjoy a private conversation. She paused turning to address the priestesses who were still following. "Would you please bring us a tray of fresh fruit and cheese?" She figured that would keep them busy and give her and Seth some time to talk.
She turned to Seth and motioned for him to pick a seat. "Please, make yourself comfortable."

His hands had slipped into the pocket of his slacks with his suit jacket still buttoned which had a way of emphasizing the expanse of his chest but Seth wasn't purposely showing off. That wasn't his style. He just liked keeping hands in his pockets than letting them hang free unless in a threatening environment where he might need to throw a punch or grab his gun.
There had yet to be anything threatening in Vernos Bay but that could've been due to there being no one in the throne for War and Discord while having someone still in place for Law and Order. Seth was content with orderly parties that seemed to keep worship flowing. He sauntered in the room Diana led him to and checked it out.
Comfy. Seth tried not to get ahead of himself. Her beauty was more than tempting to make a pass at the Goddess of Love, but she didn't seem the type that would be taken with a beeline to her goodies. He was careful not to let his gaze get caught roaming. "Don't mind if I do," he replied and moved to sit down close to her.
His eyes hadn't left hers, an appreciative stare to say the least. "I think you did most the work for me." Seth unbuttoned his suit jacket to lounge back against the the plush seating near where Diana stood. "Or did your place come stocked like this? Mine seems to have... more room."

She honestly hadn't thought about that when she had invited Seth to join her, and she hoped he realized that. Though, who knew? The mind of men could be rather... colorful when it came to things such as this.
She exhaled slowly and brought her gaze back to meet Seth's. "So, where do you come from? That is, if you don't mind me asking."

He simmered before getting ahead of himself, maybe putting on the charm a little too thick. It wasn't in his nature to try too hard but Diana was hypnotic with her beauty. Seth held a smirk that he subdued. "How about you? Where'r you from?" He finally tore his gaze away, giving a quick glance in search of the drink he'd brought her.

She handed Seth one as she smiled at him.
"I know earth very well," she began as she settled back against the cushions. "I too come from there. I was last in Paris but I grew up on an island off of Greece that I doubt you've heard of." No one she knew had ever heard of it because it was hidden from man.
"Though, I cannot say I've ever been to Kansas City. Do you miss it?"
