Temple Tea Time!

Fire has worked since Tatra took control, and homes have warmth and light to them, but that's not enough for Tatra. She instructs her priests to let people know the temple now has tea, and anyone is welcome to come over and have some. This isn't required! She makes sure her priests understand that. Nobody is required to have tea, or come to the temple, or anything else. After all, homes should be private and personal if that's what people want.

But there can also be tea. If that's what people want.

River's new temple has a wide circular firepit at its heart, so it was surprising when her new priests let her know that it would now light, meaning that there was a new deity of Hearth and Home. River's naturally curious, and goes in search of this person, and it's not long before she's told about the new Goddess Tetra and that tea is available for those who want some.

Tea is a good motivator. The young woman enters the Temple of Hearth and Home, fingers trailing along one wall. "In what distant deeps or skies, burnt the fire of thine eyes..."

AS IS GOOD AND PROPER

Tatra isn't at all concerned by the odd stranger in her temple, but she watches the girl curiously over her teacup. The little bit of poetry is actually quite nice, so she speaks up when River doesn't go on.

"Did you write that? It was lovely."

YES INDEED

River shakes her head, folding her arms in a way that seems more about personal protection than about being standoffish. "A poet," she replied. "From Earth-That-Was."

A beat and then she adds, "Like it because it talks about something without talking about it."

"Earth?" Though why anyone would call Hikaru's world 'Earth-That-Was' she can only guess.

"I've heard of Earth! I had no idea they had such lovely poetry." She gestures to the tea set by her pillow-covered throne.

"Will you join me for a cup of tea?"
